Thanks to the effort of Ed and Cindy Knight, our dream of being in a new home by Christmas had been fulfilled! The decision to move from our home of; 34 years had been a difficult one. Our relationship with Ed & Cindy Knight began LONG before we began shopping for a new home. Ed contacted us to inquire whether we were interested in selling our condominium as he had buyers interested in our complex.

Earlier this year our family relocated from the Detroit area to Houston, TX. We placed our home on the market, and after five months of open houses, and unmet expectations we began searching for a new team to work with that could hopefully move our house faster. We were very frustrated with still owning an empty home in Michigan, while we were already moved into our new home in Texas. As a result, we started searching for a new realtor by using the tool we knew best - the Internet. After searching Google for awhile on how to sell a home in Macomb county, where to get Macomb county real estate sales reports, and other real estate tips and tricks for the area, one team kept coming up at the top of the search results - Ed and Cindy Knight.
Our first call to Ed was on a Sunday evening, well after when I would have expected to find someone still working. Much to my surprise Ed answered the phone! I immediately prefaced the call by saying that we were already listed, but where thinking of making a change.Knowing this, Ed still took the time to speak with us as if we were a real customer, and not just someone looking for information.Ed listened to the way that our existing realtor had marketed our home, and how disappointed we were in the results. The next week we made the switch and contracted with Ed and Cindy to list our home. As impressed as we were after the first call, we were even more impressed with the immediate plan that they put in place for our home.They created an entire marketing plan for our home, and updated us throughout the entire process.They sent us proofs of the pictures that would appear with our listing, listed our home with multiple MLS systems, and featured our home on their website. Most importantly, they helped us re-enter the market with a much more competitive price, which would help get us the results that we really wanted.
31 days after listing our home with Ed and Cindy we were sitting at the closing table! Throughout the showing process, after we had accepted an offer, and right up until closing, Ed and Cindy where there for detailed conversations. When we got to closing there were no burning questions, and no answers that Ed and Cindy were not able to provide us. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and work ethic make them the most effective real estate team that we have seen!
