Location and History
Clinton Township is a northern suburb of Detroit and is located about 29 miles north of the downtown area. The township itself is 6 square miles, but a small part of Fraser and most of Mt. Clemens fall inside the township boundries. View map for location of Clinton Township.

In Clinton Township homes average in price from $7,900 to $850,000 and condos from $8,000 to $208,000. The age of the homes vary from early 1930's to 2008 with various styles. According to stats from the local MLS in 2009, there were 386 homes sold with an average market time of 97 days and 71 condos sold with an average market time of 91. The average sales price for homes was $195,020 and $53,3703for condos. There were also 3 vacant parcels sold at an average price of $8,337.
Travel
Several major roads run through and around the township making it easy to travel north & south and east & west. Just east of the township is I-94 and just west is I-75 two of the major expressways in the area.
Shopping
As for shopping Clinton Township features Partridge Creek a beautiful open-air shopping mall that offers 90 stores and restaurants. It's also dog friendly. To the west you will find Lakeside Mall with almost 150 stores and restaurants including many anchor store. There are also several strip malls, many large chains and tons of restaurants along the Hall Road corridor.
Education
Clinton Township consists of 5 school districts in the Macomb Intermediate School District - Chippewa Valley, Mt. Clemens, Fraser, Creuse and Clintondale. On the north end of the township is r">through Macomb University a bachelor's and master's degree. Also in neighboring Rochester, Michigan you will find Oakland University which offers 132 baccalaureate degree programs and 117 graduate degree and certificate programs.
Hospitals
Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is located right in Clinton Township and offers 435 beds, along with a heart center, cancer center, birthing center and more. Also near by is Children's Hospital of Michigan Stilson Specialty Center for all types of pediatric specialties. Just north in Macomb Township is the Beaumont medical center along with several other large hospitals throughout Macomb, Oakland and Wayne County.
Theater
Macomb Center for the Performing Arts is located in Clinton Township and features various shows like the Letterman, Ann Margaret, Larry Gatlin Brothers, Lou Rawls and the Temptations. On the grounds of Oakland University you will find The Meadow Brook Theatre which also offers high quality entertainment.

Extras
The New George George park is a 30 acre park that runs along the Clinton River and borders Groesbeck and Moravian. This park features 5000 feet of walking and bike paths and much more. A few other sites to visit Macomb Orchard Trail, Stony Creek Metro Park and several golf courses
